In past years the
Ontario Ministries of the Environment and Natural Resources have
provided the structural pest control industry with a mail out of the
current Peregrine Falcon Recovery sites with a request that bird control
products such as 4-amino pyridine and strychnine impregnated corn not be
used within a 7.5 km radius of these sites and that alternative methods
be considered. This year I have, instead of a mail out, placed the 2008
Pesticide Memorandum on the Ministry of the Environment website. The
